Our Story
OUR STORY
Western School Corporation in Russiaville, Indiana, about 50 miles north of Indianapolis, serves the communities of Harrison, Honey Creek, and Monroe Townships in Howard County.
Established in 1949, Western was formed when three schools, the New London Quakers, West Middleton Broncos, and Russiaville Cossacks, consolidated to become the Western Panthers. For more than 75 years, Western has remained steadfast in its commitment to educating and inspiring today’s students for tomorrow’s opportunities.
Our success begins with our dedicated teaching staff and is strengthened through partnerships with families, support staff, local businesses, volunteers, and community members. Together, we work to provide a safe and supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and achieve their fullest potential, preparing them to succeed in school, in career, and in life.
